Abstract

The spatial and temporal properties of pion emission in 0%–5% central Au+Au collisions at , 14.5 GeV, and 19.6 GeV were investigated using the UrQMD model. The three-dimensional femtoscopic radii, R out , R side , and R long , were extracted for several regions of pair transverse momentum. Times of maximum emission, , were extracted from the fit to R long with the assumptions of the absence and presence of the transverse flow and compared to each other. In addition, the was estimated directly from the single-particle emission function at kinetic freeze-out. The two methods provide consistent results at the considered energies.
