Abstract

The Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Md., is seeking proposals from scientists who wish to be among the first general observers to use the Hubble Space Telescope. A “project of international cooperation” between the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA), the 240‐cm telescope is to be placed in orbit in August 1986 by the NASA space shuttle orbiter At1anta.
