Abstract
This paper is a review of the current state and prospects of space research into the Sun, which plays an important role in solar-terrestrial physics studies. We present the most significant results obtained by spacecraft for different fields of solar physics-from the interior to the corona. Goals and tasks of solar space projects under development or consideration are briefly discussed.
