Space occupying growth of a pituitary adenoma producing hGH and hPrl during bromocriptin therapy

Abstract

Summary A case is reported of a 51 years old woman who had been unsuccessfully treated for acromegaly. On bromocriptin therapy growth hormone and prolactin levels initially decreased, notwithstanding this a large supra and parasellar tumor developed which had to be operated upon. The results of bromocriptin therapy are discussed.
