Abstract

Maps of the geoid of Great Britain have been determined by three independent space techniques: from Global Positioning System observations; by the astrogeodetic method; and by means of a geopotential model OSU91A, all referred to Geodetic Reference System 1980 (GRS80). Maps referred to the Airy ellipsoid are also given for the first two methods.
