Abstract

Tissue apposition is a major part in advanced endoscopy or natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES). The necessity of secure endolumenal suturing has been outlined several times. We describe our early clinical experience with a new endoscopic suturing device used in multiple clinical applications. The first case described, was a 66-year-old female with a chronic bleeding gastric ulcer. Endoscopic oversew of the fundal ulcer was attempted. The second case described was a 66-year-old female with previous Gastric Bypass Operation and recurrent gastro-gastric fistula.
