Abstract
The article provides a historical and architectural review of the unique heritage of the Soviet era - the clubs and palaces of culture of Kamensk-Uralsky, an industrial city in the Urals, Russia. Changes in the architectural style of these buildings and their use in connection with the changing political situation in the country are retraced.
