Abstract
Measurements have been made of the anisotropy of cosmic rays with energies of about 1016 eV from a Southern Hemisphere (latitude 35 degrees S) site. A sidereal anisotropy with an amplitude of 0.84% and a phase of 8.0 h was found. This phase changes appreciably at about 1016 eV.
