Abstract

Descriptions are given of Lepiota canescens, L. cristato-cystidiata, L. cutifracta, L. fustiformis, L. truncata and L. umbrino-zonata. Lepiota canescens is reduced to synonymy under L. truncata. The diagnosis of L. fustiformis is shown to be based on two different taxa and the nomenclatural implications are discussed. The following new combinations are proposed: Leucoagaricus cristato-cystidiatus, Leucocoprinus truncatus, L. umbrino-zonatus. Lepiota praeclara and L.roseoiescensboth belong in Amanita.
