Abstract
Among the large class of spherically symmetric solutions of Einstein’s field equations for a shear-free perfect fluid with spatially homogeneous energy density given by Kustaanheimo, solutions which can be interpreted as sources for McVittie’s mass particle in the three families of expanding universes were identified.
