Abstract

Christopher Columbus's second voyage was, from a historical point of view, as important as the first even if less sensational. It was indeed this voyage which created the bridge between native and European culture. This article discusses the main sources concerning Columbus's second voyage with particular reference to the documents existing in Italian libraries.
