Abstract

This article identifies the main phonostylistique mechanisms – alliteration and assonance, by determining their functioning as the means of sound depiction. The analysis of the relationship of form and content, sound and its values is carried out on the material of the French novel by G. de Maupassant “Bel Ami.” In the results of the study emphasizes the close relationship of visual and sound suggestive methods to influence the emotional state of the reader.
