Abstract
In order to clarify the sound field characteristics and calculation method of the shunt reactor, on the basis of vibration and sound pressure measurement, Soundplan and acoustic boundary element method were used to reconstruct the sound field of the reactor. Then, the calculated results are compared with the measured values. As a result, a relatively accurate method of calculating the sound field of the reactor is obtained. The results show that the surface vibration of the reactor is asymmetric due to the structural difference, the sound field distribution is complicated and the interference phenomenon is obvious; Soundplan can not consider the acoustic interference and the calculated results are quite different from the measured sound field. While the BEM can better simulate the process of reactor attenuation as the distance increases, and it can reconstruct sound pressure at any point in the sound field and calculate the sound power level.
