Abstract

Socialization on domestic violence and countermeasures for victims aims to provide a deeper understanding to the community in Walantaka District so that the community is able to classify various types of domestic violence acts and understand how to deal with domestic violence victims, especially psychological assistance to wives and children. The service activity which was carried out in Walantaka District, Serang City, Banten Province was attended by the community, village officials, and community leaders of Walantaka District. The method used in this activity is to conduct field surveys, preparation, and socialization. The results of this service activity increase community understanding regarding acts of domestic violence and how to overcome domestic violence victims. The community is motivated to care more about problems in the surrounding environment and be able to build good communication in the family environment to create harmonious and supportive relationships for the growth and development of all family members
