Abstract

The majority of Indonesian people's household financial planning still uses traditional concepts in rural areas, especially housewives who are now managing family finances and using their finances only for consumption activities. The lack of public knowledge of sharia-based household financial planning in managing finances for families is still considered trivial because they have not paid much attention to the importance of sharia-based financial planning. The author uses community service in the form of community education, namely by providing socialization to increase understanding of the people of Pantai Harapan Jaya Village, Muara Gembong District. The location of the implementation of socialization activities in the courtyard of the Al-Ikhlas mosque, Pantai Harapan Jaya Village, face to face. The socialization began with the provision of material "Socialization of Sharia-Based Household Financial Planning in the village of Pantai Harapan Jaya". The results of the service show that participants can appreciate the importance of implementing sharia-based household finances in order to create prosperous financial conditions in the family. The suggestions recommended for further service or the community are to be able to practice directly in the form of training in several sessions to improve the ability to implement prosperous family financial planning to the community.
