Abstract

The increase in the number of cafes in Indonesia is due to the changing lifestyle of today's young people. The cafes that have sprung up have different concepts, such as the Coffee Rest in Padang city. Business actors must have the ability to compete with other cafe owners, especially in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. Entrepreneurial characteristics are believed to support the business owned so that it can achieve success. The method used is socialization after conducting interviews and observations. The group made eight visits to the Coffee Rest for three months. With this outreach activity, the owner began to implement the suggestions from the group so that the number of visitors and customers increased compared to the previous few months.
