Abstract
Thermodynamic processes in a closed volume filled with gas-bearing Zh coal are investigated. Experiments are conducted with bed samples in a sealed vessel, which is equipped with a pressure sensor and four temperature sensors. The temperature variation in the vessel is found to be oscillatory. This may be attributed to heat transfer between layers with different granulometric composition and also to the structure of the coal particles.
