Abstract
The change of functional profile and structure of a polymeric fibrous composite m- and p-aramid— polyacrylonitrile and its components during thermal oxidation was studied by chemical and instrumental analytical methods. A mutual effect of the system components during heat treatment was not found. The contributions of each component of the fibrous system to the sorption and thermal properties of the composition were determined.
