Sorption of strontium by sorbents on the base of di-(tert-butylcyclohexano)-18-crown-6 with use of various diluents

Abstract

Set of sorbents were obtained on the base of di-(tert-butylcyclohexano)-18-crown-6, various diluents and styrene–divinylbenzene support for strontium sorption from nitric acid solutions. First it was proposed to use nitrobenzene and 1,1,7-trihydrododecafluoroheptanol as diluents in obtaining sorbents on the base of crown ethers, it was shown higher efficiency of these diluents in comparison with 1-octanol. The effect of method of support pretreatment, a concentration of crown ether in a sorbent and nitric acid in solution on strontium sorption were examined.
