Abstract
The experimental and calculated data acquired during an investigation into the exchange kinetics of aluminum, zirconium, and hafnium ions on KM 2P carboxylic cationite in the Na+ form by the “limited volume” method are presented. The influence that the ionite grain size, stirring rate, and temperature have on the rate of the sorption process is shown. It is established that the limiting stage of the process is internal diffusion. The interdiffusivities and apparent activation energies of the process are calculated.
