Abstract

During detailed anomaly scan at 20 weeks of pregnancy, we examine the fetal body, structure and position of the placenta and measure fetal growth and amount of amniotic fluid. An important part of the detailed scan is the examination of fetal heart and connecting vessels. Assessment of the aortic arch by ultrasound can discover malformations of this and leaving vessels.
