Abstract

The process of writing the screenplay, Somewhere Only We Go, occurred over eight months for actress and creative Claire Kendall Taetz. From deeply researching the writing process and watching her characters come to life as she typed out her script, Taetz formed a complex psychological thriller that will have audiences questioning the layers of reality and consciousness. Logline for film: “Nearing high school graduation, Ashlynn MacGregor and her friends venture out on the town. A tragic event occurs, and Ashlynn is presented with a new reality...and the question is not can she accept it, but how she will accept it. Somewhere she goes takes us on a journey where we all go, through the eyes of one frightened but dauntless woman on the brink of insanity.
