Abstract

An account is given of the preparation and properties of some phosphors excited by ultra-violet radiation of short wavelength, namely boron phosphate activated by thallium, and some arsenate analogues of the halophosphates; also of self-activated vanadates excited by ultra-violet radiation of long wavelength.
