Abstract
This work introduce and study the subsets which are preplacsd (resp., α-placed) in the product of two topological spaces. Then some properties of such subsets and obtain sufficient conditions for preplacsd (resp., α-placed) subsets to be countably compact. Also, a product theorem for paracompact spaces using the concepts of preplaced (resp., α-placed) subsets presented.
