Abstract

The theory for scaling electromagnetic systems is applied in the construction of a model for the Slingram dipole—dipole prospecting technique. The horizontal and vertical components for responses of vertical and horizontal thin-sheet conductors are obtained. The effect of conductor size on the response is studied. Examples of profiles are presented and results from a range of response parameters and depths are condensed into phasor diagrams. Some qualitative and semi-qualitative comments are made on these results.
