Abstract
The paper describes the telemetry systems used in the Skylark rocket and in the satellites which are to be launched by American Scout rockets. Both these systems are adapted from existing telemetry systems, the Skylark from the British 24-channel system and the Scout satellite from the Explorer VIII rocket. The first part of the paper indicates the new developments in the British 24-channel system and describes briefly some data reduction equipment. The second part discusses the ways in which the British and American systems differ.
