Abstract
ABSTRACT Early identification of reservoir size can be made by a minimum number of exploratory and appraisal wells. A differential analysis method is described where logging data are used to distinguish the oil, gas and water bearing zones in the stages of exploration and early evaluation. Examples are also given to illustrate the use of stratigraphic correlation and regional fluid pressure analysis for this purpose.
