Abstract

Methods for determining response of the beam with distributed parameters to harmonic external loads are considered. The main attention is paid to the method of decomposition of displacements by modes of oscillations. The features of the method are described for beams without damping, with external and internal damping. For specific examples, a complete calculation of the steady-state forced oscillations is carried out. The frequency dependence of generalized coordinates and phase parameters are obtained and investigated in a wide frequency range of external dynamic action.
