Abstract
Equatorial anomaly is investigated. Monthly average critical frequency of F2-region plotted against observatories co-ordinates does not show equatorial trough though the seasonal effect is well pronounced. Mitra's suggestion for the investigation of Ionospheric Equator is emphasized in this article and possible nodes of equator have been located.
