Abstract
Lower bounds of essential supremum of solutions of quasilinear elliptic systems are obtained, using the method of control of essential supremum published in the paper by Korkut, Pasic and Žubrinic for the scalar case, [J. Differential Equations 170 (2001) 240-280] (the method was introduced by the second author). Results about generating singularities and lower $L^p$-bounds of the gradient of solutions of quasilinear systems are derived.
