Abstract
Educational films have been used for decades in Soviet schools as a means of instruction. The supply of educational motion pictures has been increasing slowly but steadily, with a simultaneous improvement in their quality. A good deal of experience in using movies in the classroom has been gained, and quite a number of books and articles have been written on how films should be utilized in school. Every class in Moscow's schools has seen 15 to 16 films in the past school year.
