Abstract

The transition temperature T c ( p) of a diluted spin-S (S > 1 2 ) Ising ferromagnet is studied on the basis of the effective-field theories with correlations, changing the value of S. In particular, the physical backgrounds of some characteristic phenomena observed in the T c ( p) curves are discussed.
