Abstract

In addition, C.L.R. James was in D.C, as well as African and Caribbean embassies, lobbyists the usual D.C. suspects. I reconnected with the Drum and Spear folk after Feather [James G.] was killed but I do not know when the idea of Sixth-PAC became actualized. I do know that by 1972 I had attended several organizing meetings in D.C. and the planning of the formal, public organizing meeting was being planned for Kent State in 1973. 1 went to Queens College in 1972 to meet with C.L.R. and Courtland about the planning process.
