Abstract
Various methods for solution of control problems of distributed systems are reviewed. The parabolic case (linear or non-linear) is specially examined from both points of view of open-loop and closed loop solutions. Special interest is devoted to sub-optimal feedback and open-loop feedback optimal (O.L.F.O) techniques. Concerning special applications some problems involving integer control and/or point wise control are presented.
