Abstract

Most of crystals of solid materials have anisotropic characters, but this feature is not often utilized in manufacturing. In the paper, there is a review of those processes, which could be used first of all for improving properties of magnetic materials. Essence of plastic deformations and recrystallization textures is described together with controlled crystallization possibilities. Improvement of some features of polycrystalline bodies by growing crystallites with orientation requested for assuring the needed anisotropic character is also discussed. Utilization of the effects of magnetic, electric or mechanical loads gives such possibilities.
