Abstract
We use boson second quantization of the shell model to derive a simple operator form for the transverse electron scattering form factor F i→f T ( q 2) in the sd shell model, with the shape completely given. We then give an SU(3)-effective algebraic operator for use in an SU(3) irrep (λ0), and we discuss the generalization of the forms derived here to include higher n h ̵ ω correlations.
