Abstract

A method for the detection of frequently used pharmacological products has been developed. A number of commonly used analgetics, tranquilizers, antihistamines, and antimalarial drugs were examined on thin-layer silica gels. Two types of developing solvent were used, and visualization was achieved with a cobalt(II) thiocyanate reagent.
