Abstract

The Kaiser effect of acoustic emission during stretching of amorphous glassy polymers has been observed for acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer and ABS at deformations greater than 1%. Acoustic emission has also observed in various polymers during temperature jump from room temperature to 100°.
