Abstract
Five new species of Trichoptera from Mexico are described and the male genitalia are illustrated. The new species described here include Protoptila tarahumara (Glossosomatidae); Neotrichia yavesia and Leucotrichia dinamica (Hydroptilidae); Smicridea florecita (Hydropsychidae); and Cernotina chiapaneca (Polycentropodidae). The female terminalia of S. florecita is also illustrated.
