Abstract

Acalypha indica Linn., Euphorbia geniculata Ort., Heliotropium curassavicum Linn., Micrococca mercurialis (Linn.) Benth., Oxalis martiana Zucc., Physalis longifolia Nutt., Tephrosia uniflora Pers. subsp.' petrosa (Blatt, et Hall.) Gill, et Ali, Trifolium fragiferum Linn, and Trigonella occulta Delile have been recorded for the first time from the plains of the Punjab. Physalis longifolia Nutt, and Hetiotropitm curassavicum Linn, are new records for northern India.
