Abstract

Abstract Three new species, Mesocallis alnicola, Mesocallis obtusirostris and Metanipponaphis echinata are described from Meghalaya and West Bengal. The other species, Metanipponaphis silvestrii (Tak.), Mindarus obietinus Koch and Pleotrichophorus chrysanthemi (Theo.) are recorded for the first time from India. Clethrobius comes (Walker) is recorded for the first time from Arunachal Pradesh and was earlier known only from Meghalaya in India.
