Abstract

We introduce some necessary conditions for the tomogram-like functions to be true quantum-state tomograms. For this purpose, we employ a map realizing the connection between the Bargmann and tomographic representations of states. In this connection, we discuss the role of analytic behavior of the Bargmann representation of states.
