Abstract

Some molecular integrals over ellipsoidal Hermite-Gaussian functions relevant for SCF calculations are considered. It is shown that all integrals can be expressed in a closed form if the H nzA (axAXA) H nyA (ayA yA) H nzA (azA zA) exp (-br2 A basis set is employed. It appears also that this type of functions is convenient for the calculation of electric properties of molecules. Finally, a relation between the H G and harmonic oscillator functions is established.
