Abstract
Abstract Data are presented for 14 elements in 33 spices analyzed by a direct reading emission spectroscopic method. For six of the spices, seven elements were verified by atomic absorption and wet chemical methods, and two additional elements were verified by wet chemical methods only. Comparison with conventional wet chemical and atomic absorption methods shows favorable agreement
