Abstract

Productions of Be-10, Al-26, stable Mg isotopes, Mn-53, Cr-53, Ni-59, and Nb-92 have been studied in variable targets bombarded by high-energy protons and neutrons. The half-lives of Be-10, Ni-59 and Nb-92 have been determined with chemically separated products directly by a combination of data of mass spectrometry and radioactivity counting. The production cross-sections have also been measured for the productions of Al-26, Mg isotopes, Mn-53 and Ni-59 in aluminium and iron targets by protons and alpha particles up to 50 MeV. The productions of these nuclides and their decay products in extraterrestrial materials are discussed.
