Abstract

The study of the contact and static electricity of bodies is of practical interest, because they lead to the formation of the electric charge on the dust particles, when charging the wells and boreholes by granular explosives. Up to now, there is no rigorous theory of such phenomena and there is no developed mathematical apparatus to analyze them. This article describes a method of calculating the binding energy of the solid state of material (crystal), based on the concept of Lenard-Jones potential. The relation between the binding energy and the ionizing friction force was determined. Some regularities of explosives granules electrification during the charging of wells and boreholes by granular explosives were considered in the article. Crystalline structure of granules and its impact on their destruction were taken into account. The regularities of removal of dust produced by the interaction of explosives granules during the charging of wells and boreholes, and the impact of the fluid on the process of electrification of granules and conditions of additional electrification of particles in the well capacity during the charging were examined. The results obtained in the article allow the development of effective security measures during the pneumatic charging of wells and boreholes by granular explosives.
