Abstract

This paper shows how accessibility educational programs conceived from the perspective of design for all, favor the inclusive and plural approach of the Reina Sofia National Center of Art Museum diverse public. A benchmark of inclusion and good practices that has managed to transform itself with the participatory pedagogical innovations and the human teams that have constituted it, during the last decade. The contribution of particular experiences allows to follow the trajectory of inclusive activities, focused on childhood and youth, from formal education to more experimental expressive and communication forms such as music, dance, theater or circus. And discover how through the medium and long-term participatory projects, the need has been generated to make this inclusion like a transversal element that transcends educational actions, transforms architectural spaces and grows in the concept of a social museum in an integral way the visibility and normalization universal accessibility and culture for all people.
