Abstract
We try to discuss a model of f (R) gravity with the idea of entropic force, especially for the model that is applied in a broad range of scales, from the Solar System to the cosmological scale. We apply spherically symmetric metrics derived from f (R) gravity to study some thermodynamical aspects of Verlinde's formalism. In this setup, several quantities, e.g., temperature, energy and entropic force are obtained. By focusing on the entropic force, we show that there are some deviations from the standard Newtonian gravity in a broad range of scales.
