Abstract

Some results obtained at Kingston, Jamaica, by ground-based radio reflection from the Es layer are discussed. Evidence is presented for the presence of irregularities of at least several kilometers in extent and also for the presence of oscillatory behavior with periods of some minutes. It would seem that the Mitra method has applications where the receivers are much further separated than has been previously noted.
