Abstract
The ratio of lambda parameters between Manton and Wilson (single plaquette) actions is obtained from an high-statistics Monte Carlo calculation in SU(2) lattice gauge theory. We obtain R MC = Λ M Λ W = 4.3 ± 0.2 while the theoretical ratio is R TH = 3.35. Some remarks about the universality problem between different forms of the lattice actions are given.
